St. Louis and Dred Scott

Yesterday we arrived in St. Louis and got straight to it. We walk over to the Old St. Louis Courthouse, were the Dred Scott Case started. We watched a short movie on the case and saw the courtroom were the case was first tried. Then we went over by the Arch and sat under the wonderful shade of tree and discussed what we had just seen. We also talked about what we thought about cases like Dred Scott where people in power use it to tear down other people. It was a interesting starting conversation about power and its uses. After we left the arch we went across the mighty Mississippi to Fairview Heights, Illinois. Upon arriving in Fairview we went to where we are staying, Christ United Methodist. We got settled in for the beginning of a wonderful trip
